There’s nothing greater in the internet world than when people bounce ideas off each other, and learn from one another and create respectful conversation. I expect the comment section on this blog to follow the same goals. To do so, we have to make it well known what is, and isn’t allowed in our comment section. Please read below and view our community guidelines and please encourage others to follow along also!

  1. Avoid controversial topics. For example, don’t make a comment section a political argument. This will inevitably lead to personal attacks, etc. that we should try to avoid.
  2. Ask yourself: Is it true (no misinformation)? Is it necessary? Is it friendly?
  3. Be friendly, and civil. Related, please be respectful to all commenters. If you disagree with someone, do so respectfully.
  4. No personal attacks, discriminatory language, spam, or self promotion.

If any of the above is found, you may flag a comment for me to be alerted and take a look at the comment. In fact, it would even be helpful!

If I find that it’s necessary, I will remove comments if conversation starts to veer towards personal attacks, or veer into topics that maybe shouldn’t be discussed in this area.

If the commenter has multiple violations, or if it’s deemed necessary to do so earlier, I will ban them from commenting on the blog.
